This hen is seen Steppin’ Out as the rooster is still in the chicken coop in the background. Life on the farm is always interesting to say the least.
I enjoyed a unique portrait session with a couple dozen hens and three roosters in August 2019, a few miles southwest of Corn, Oklahoma.
Working a live action portrait shoot of chickens can be a little tricky. You have to be ready to anticipate their next move, and you are lucky if you get an opportunity where their head isn’t moving for a full two seconds.
