This photograph was made inside Union Pacific's Bailey Yard in North Platte, Nebraska. Bailey Yard is the world's largest railroad classification yard. Wildlife make their home in several small remote wooded areas and don't seem to mind the railroad activity or the numerous employees that they come in contact with.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels.
