Artist's Description

One Through The Back by Bill Kesler Photography.

This is a closeup view of a damaged Yield Sign, and if you look closely, you can see that one of the bullet holes is from the back side.

From an artistic view, I am fascinated by the fine stress cracks in the red vinyl covering on the front of this aluminum sign blank. You can easily tell that the bullet has lots of force as it makes contact with the sign.

Notice how the bullet hole on the left - the "one through the back" - how the stress cracks run toward the bullet hole, and how on the others, that the stress cracks are circular in relation to the bullet hole.

Please note that I do not condone making road signs a target and used for target practice. Nor am I against guns in general.

About Bill Kesler

Bill Kesler

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in. In 1967 country music’s Song of the Year was “It’s Such A Pretty World Today”, performed by the...
