Artist's Description
As a photographer I seem to be naturally drawn to repeating shapes, patterns or textures - in an artistic way.
This photograph is a tight crop on a set of parallel insulators being used on a high voltage transmission circuit which has parallel conductors. Seeing that they are using two conductors in parallel tells me that this circuit is heavily loaded. By looking at how many sets of insulators are between the conductors and the supporting structure tells me that the voltage is pretty high, most likely several hundred thousand volts.

About Bill Kesler
Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in.
