Artist's Description

Fresh mown alfalfa hay that has been tedded into windrows as seen on a foggy morning shortly after sunrise. Timing is everything in hay operations. I suspect the farmer will be baling the hay once the fog has burned off and the hay has dried out a little.

I made this photograph west of North Platte, Nebraska along Highway 30.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels.
