Description
On a cool October morning shortly after the sunrise, Turkey Vultures are seen perched on multiple fence posts with their wings spread. The vultures do this to get more body part surfaces exposed to the warm sun.
On this particular morning, there were dozens of Turkey Vultures sitting on the multiple fence posts - all with their wings spread out. They would stay in this position for several minutes at a time, only moving their head from one direction to the other.
Beyond the fence and in the lower right corner you can see more Turkey Vultures - all the fence posts were already taken. I noticed that if one of the vultures on the posts would fly off, it was quickly taken by one of the vultures on the ground. It was quite the sight.
