Artist's Description

A Union Pacific manifest train heads west near Brady, Nebraska on Union Pacific's Triple Track. The train is being powered by five locomotives heading around the curve in the distance, followed by a couple dozen tanker cars, a few covered hopper cars, a dozen or so refrigerated box cars, and some double-stack cars. And this isn't even the first half of the train, but it was as much as I could get in the photograph and still include the locomotives.

This photograph has had an artistic filter applied to give it qualities unique to the art of painting.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in.
