Artist's Description

"That's Not Braille" by Bill Kesler Photography.

This is a closeup view of a damaged caution sign, and if you look closely, you can see that this section was damaged by shotgun pellets from both the front and the back.

From an artistic view, I am fascinated by the fine stress cracks in the yellow vinyl covering the front of this aluminum sign blank. The pellets that hit the back of the sign have made some protruding shapes on the front, and at first glance, someone might think that this sign has braille. Not really a wild thought, since lots of signs have both text and braille, but this is a road sign, and road signs are not required to have braille. At least not at the time of this listing.

Please note that I do not condone making road signs a target and used for target practice. Nor am I against guns in general.

About Bill Kesler

Bill Kesler

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in. In 1967 country music’s Song of the Year was “It’s Such A Pretty World Today”, performed by the...
