Artist's Description

This mule deer doe with her twins were out exploring the area where they live. They make their home in a small wooded area inside Union Pacific's Bailey Yard, located in North Platte, Nebraska. Bailey Yard is the world's largest railroad classification yard. For many years the mule deer population inside the yard has been around a dozen or so.

This photograph has had an artistic filter applied to give it qualities unique to the art of painting.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in.
