Artist's Description

The Gleaner F combine harvester, or simply combine, is a farm machine that was designed to harvest grain crops, such as wheat, corn, barley, rye, oats, soybeans and flax. The name combine, derives from it combining three separate operations comprising harvesting - reaping, threshing and winnowing - into a single process. Combine harvesters are one of the most economically labor saving inventions in agriculture.
