Artist's Description

Union Pacific's massive Challenger steam locomotive, the UP 3977 has stopped at the train station in North Platte, Nebraska. The crew steps off to stretch their legs while the passengers are boarding.

The young woman spies the crew looking the other way and climbs into the cab. Adorned in black lace gloves, she can't resist grabbing the red brake handles, but to her surprise the brakeman has climbed back into the cab and catches her in the act.
