A gorgeous day is quickly coming to a close as the sun sets in the west. This photograph was made at the Chupadera National Recreation Trail about six (6) miles south of San Antonio, NM along state highway 1.
I really like the way that the rays of the sun make their dominance across the dry cracked earth bed, while back-lighting the plant life with that warm golden light.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives.
