"Brady In The Morning" is a blended image using three (3) exposures that were captured a few minutes before the sun peeked over the horizon.
I chose to blend the three (3) exposures together so that the clouds would take on a unique look about them as well as it would smooth out the surface of the small lake, allowing a more dynamic reflection. The reeds in the foreground were slightly moving from the subtle breeze, and if you look closely, you will see that the tops of the reeds have multiple edges. I thought it added something unique to the finished photograph.
Interstate 80 runs east & west through the lower portion of Nebraska. There are a lot of small lakes adjacent to the interstate and locals simply refer to them as "Interstate Lakes". This particular "Interstate Lake" is at Brady, Nebraska on I-80.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work.
