Artist's Description

"Three's a crowd, so they say!" In this case, three horns seems to be a crowd. This is not the result of adding a horn in Photoshop - as it turns out, the longhorn cow in front was looking directly in the camera, while the longhorn cow in the background stood by. Just as I pressed the shutter release button, the cow in the background turned her head, possibly to address an itch.

This photograph has had an artistic filter applied to give it qualities unique to the art of painting.

This photograph was made north of Ogallala, Nebraska in November 2010.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in.
