A herd of elk are seen grazing in an open meadow in the Rocky Mountain National Park not far from the western gateway.
The herd consisted of about twenty (20) cows and several calves and only one (1) bull elk. The bull elk was busy keeping the cows close. Very neat to watch him work the herd.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels.
