Artist's Description
On a cool October morning shortly after the sunrise, Turkey Vultures are seen perched on multiple fence posts with their wings spread. The vultures do this to get more body part surfaces exposed to the warm sun.
On this particular morning, there were dozens of Turkey Vultures sitting on the multiple fence posts - all with their wings spread out. They would stay in this position for several minutes at a time, only moving their head from one direction to the other.
Beyond the fence and in the lower right corner you can see more Turkey Vultures - all the fence posts were already taken. I noticed that if one of the vultures on the posts would fly off, it was quickly taken by one of the vultures on the ground. It was quite the sight.

About Bill Kesler
Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives. I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of God’s wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in. In 1967 country music’s Song of the Year was “It’s Such A Pretty World Today”, performed by the...
