Description
In early April 2015 I headed out on a photography adventure at Nebraska's largest lake, Lake McConaughy. I found the beach on the north shore to be vacant so I decided to try my skills of making designs in the sand using my 4-wheel drive vehicle.
First I made a figure eight. It didn't look too bad, so I made another figure eight. I then launched my quadcopter with the GoPro camera attached and took several aerial photographs.
Also in this photograph in the upper right hand corner is my yellow Hummer H2 along with myself standing to the right of it. If you look close in the lower right portion you can see the shadow of my quadcopter. (More photographs from this adventure in my gallery titled "Aerial and Drone Photography").
In this photograph, the horizon is bulging from the wide angle view of the GoPro. I could have corrected it in the post-processing, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it and decided to leave it this way.

Wow Bill, you are good, I really love this photo, so glad you didn't change anything, it is perfect as is! Does make the world appear very round, this may have convinced all the people from long ago that nope our world isn't flat after all. :) I really like this!! Beautiful!!!
