BNSF 5989 heading north along US Hwy 385 just south of Gurley, Nebraska. This locomotive is a model ES44AC which is manufactured by General Electric Transportation Systems. Part of the Evolution Series, rated at 4,400 HP and utilizing six AC traction motors.

Interested in photography since my high school years in the late 60’s, I finally purchased a Nikon SLR in the late 70’s and wasn’t long until I started selling my work. In 1970 I began my electrical career and continued to mix photography into my daily travels. With my successful electrical career coming to a close with retirement in mind, I won’t be one of those persons that retire and wonder what they will do with the rest of their lives.
