Cloudstack is a term I use to describe a method of taking multiple exposures of clouds, then blending them together in the post-processing to create a unique photographic work-of-art. The number of exposures used to make a Cloudstack will often vary, from a few to maybe several hundred. The time between exposures will also vary, from a few seconds to a few minutes. As you browse through my gallery, you will see a variety - where most will be made during sunrise or sunset, to late afternoon thunderheads, and even some made at night when the moon is full or near full. There is a lot of work and dedication involved in making one of these unique works-of-art. I will be up and gone before the sun rises so that I can be setup in a selected location - all with the hope that the sky will have some wonderful fast moving clouds to work with. Not every sunrise will be ideal, but if I'm not already there and in position, I will miss it.
